Marteau & Co is the first auction house dedicated exclusively to independent watchmaking, and the first to guarantee its makers a share of every resale. For their first two auctions, we accompanied them as their visual partner, sitting down with the founders behind some of the most singular watches in the independent scene: MB&F, Kollokium, Crayon, Andersen Genève. Each interview was shot in the watchmaker's own atelier, where decades of knowledge live in the tools, the benches, and the hands that use them. Where most auction houses sell objects, Marteau & Co sells authorship. We made sure the films did the same.
